Greetings, dear readers! I would like to tell you about a unique musical experience in the vibrant city of Munich,  where the guitar notes of the Mexican musician Alejandro Carrillo Gamboa transported the audience to the warm lands of Mexico.

After Oktoberfest's craziness and excitement, Munich has returned to normality. On a warmer than usual and more relaxed evening,  the "Saal X" stage in the new Gasteig HP8 lit up with the magnetic presence of Alejandro, a virtuoso guitarist whose talent has resonated greatly in Europe. Munich, known for its cultural diversity, enthusiastically embraced the musical proposal that promised a direct journey to the soul of Mexico.

Musical chords began to resonate, and the stage was illuminated with Mexican flag colors: green, white, and red, and in the center of the stage stood Alejandro.

The repertoire was carefully selected, and from the initial chords, Alejandro wove a sonic narrative that reminded the audience of the deep roots of Mexican music. From the nostalgic melodies of Manuel M. Ponce to the exuberance of "El Pastorcillo," each note resonated with the richness of the Mexican culture.

The concert on the 7th of October began with the gentleness of "Retrato Navideño," an original composition that made the audience sway to the rhythm of the guitar. Other own pieces that Alejandro performed included "Ilusión "and "Canción de Cuna".

Alejandro skillfully guided the audience through a musical landscape where love, passion, and melancholy harmonized.

As the evening unfolded, the repertoire embraced the diversity of Mexican styles and other Latin American songs, such as "Por una cabeza," a tango by Carlos Gardel. From the cadence of a bolero like "Bésame Mucho" to the contagious energy of "La Bamba," each song was a glimpse of Mexico's musical richness. With bright eyes and hearts beating to the guitar's rhythm, the attendees were carried away by the magic of Alejandro's performance.

One of the highlights was when the guitarist played the Malagueñas, beautifully blending the Spanish Malagueña with the Mexican "Malagueña salerosa," a combination that challenges the technical skills of any musician, not to mention Alejandro's vocal ability to sing this last song. With these songs and the magnificent performance, emotions, especially from the Mexicans in the Saal X, truly resonated in the venue.

The audience couldn't contain their enthusiasm and gratitude at the concert's end, and a wave of applause reverberated through the venue. The smiling guitarist thanked the audience and shared the joy of bringing Mexican music to German lands, to his second home, as we say it in German: "Heimat."

Alejandro Carrillo's performance was more than a concert; it was a cultural bridge connecting two worlds through music's universality. On that magical night, the cosmopolitan German city immersed itself in the passion and poetry of Mexico. Long live music, long live multiculturality!
